Yahoo has been a major attraction for all internet users when it comes to latest news and trends. But we don’t underestimate Google, because they also have a section called Google Trends. For internet marketers, this is one of their perfect strategies in order to rank their keyword high to the search engine ranking pages (SERPS). For example, if a company launches a new baby product, internet marketers are going to use the name of the product as their keyword. Not only they will focus on the keyword with the latest trend, they need to combine it with other keywords as well.
Are trends really hot in the affiliate marketing field?
For affiliate and internet marketers, they are really hot on their field. This gets them addicted to trending by listing their possible keyword combination on that trend. At least 10 keyword per trend will do for now, unless they’re smart enough to do some more. Trends will give them traffic to their blog or any Web 2.0 site like Squidoo and HubPages. Speaking of HubPages and Squidoo, they are getting good traffic from Google and other search engines. They considered themselves as an online community for bloggers, especially when it comes to make money online.
When they used a keyword from trend to their title, tags and content, it will be generated and indexed by Google faster. When your content was found in the search results at least on the first or second page, you will get more traffic and even sales from the products related to your trending keyword. This is a win-win situation for all affiliate marketers. What they need to do is to find an affiliate or cost per action (CPA) offer that is related to the trending keyword, and market it to their blog’s content or Web 2.0 sites.
What’s next after this?
After you completed your content in your blog or any Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo and Hubpages with your trending keywords, you need to market them by yourself. Building backlinks through forum communities, relevant blogs, article directories, press releases and high quality web directories like DMOZ will help you gain more sales, as your trending keyword will receive more traffic. It will give more exposure to your website or your content from Web 2.0 sites. This is the real power of trending for affiliate marketers, and they need it to skyrocket their search engine ranks, and to generate potential sales as well.
