There are still internet marketers who are not yet making their first sale with any affiliate program. It is obvious that their efforts are totally wasted because the sales and leads are not converting at all. What could have gone wrong? One of the reasons that an internet marketer did not make their first sale because they are lazy enough to learn all the tactics and strategies from the experts. Instead they skip it and take action without any knowledge from it. It is important for every internet marketer to get their first lead or sale, because they were after the profits. But of course, they need to build relationships first to the customer, and to make sure that they trust us in promoting a product or offer.
Here are the five simple ways for an internet marketer to get their first lead:
1. Sign up for any cost per action (CPA) program like Peerfly, Neverblue and other programs. Wait until you get approved by them either on e-mail or by phone.
2. Choose at least 10 offers that are having the highest conversions. In other words, choose the top 10 offers that were introduced by your network. You need to copy all affiliate links of the offers you choose. Since most of the offers are only accepting USA traffic, it is a huge market. Read the do’s and dont’s of the offer before you start promoting. It is also advised that you save the URL’s of their landing pages too in order for you to start writing good content.
3. Create a lens on Squidoo or Hubpages. Google loves them (even if you use blackhat way), and start writing one to two articles for each offer. Reviews and tips will perform better than a regular article, along with the affiliate links on it. They will act as your main landing page. Make sure that you do keyword research on Google Keyword External Tool. You will only choose keywords for your title, tags and content that are in low competition and massive global and local search volume.
4. Backlinks! Backlinks! Backlinks! You need to create a lot of backlinks for your offers from relevant forums, blogs and article directories. Make sure that your customers will be only from USA. Classified ads like Craigslist and USFreeAds are not allowed for CPA offers because they are considered incentivized.
5. Patience is a virtue until you have your very first sale. It may take you weeks or a month to get it, and you need to continue building relevant links over and over. If you have money to invest, automated tools like SEOLinkVine, Unique Article Wizard and Bookmarking Demon will do the work for you, but it cost you a lot of money.
